My latest Sugar 'n' Spice VoxBox from Influenster included the amazing Dickinson's Original Witch Hazel Oil-Controlling Towelettes. Below is my video review of the product!
If you are unable to see my video, here is a little recap....
I currently was using Clean and Clear face wash, as well as using Pond's face towelettes at night to remove makeup or clean dirt and oil off my face. I like the Pond's, however they left a bit of residue on my skin and I would always have to wash my face afterwards.
When I first opened the Dickinson's product I was overwhelmed by the smell of the towelette. I am assuming it is the smell of the witch hazel, but it is very strong and I would describe it as a bitter unpleasant alcohol smell.
After rubbing the towelette across my face, I noticed how clean it felt. It did sting my skin a little bit, like alcohol does, but that doesn't really bother me. My face felt very clean, and unlike the Pond's, there was no feeling of residue at all! It was like it dried instantly and my face did not have any oil or dirt left on it. It felt very soft, moisturized and clean.
These towelettes are made for on-the-go and I think they are perfect for that. I mentioned with the Pond's I felt like I had to wash my face afterwards, but with Dickinson's towelettes, there is no feeling of residue. They would be amazing for traveling or even at work for a little refresher. The moisture dries so fast, it is like a quick little wash and burst of clean!
I have since gotten much more used to the smell of the towelettes. I would still say that it isn't the best smell, compared to other products, but it is tolerable. I love how the product makes my face feel, so I can deal with the smell.
I love this product is natural, does great things for my skin and makes me feel clean and refreshed! I will be sure to keep a few of these in my purse for when I'm on the go!
