Woolite = Love for your clothes!

Have you ever tried Woolite detergent? I know how it is to be very brand loyal to your favorite detergent. I grew up always seeing my mom used Tide, so that is what I always used to prefer. However, I am starting to change my mind!

I was lucky to receive Woolite samples to share with my friends and family through Crowdtap!

The first thing I noticed when I opened up a back of the Woolite detergent and poured it into my washer was the smell! I love the smell! It is a fresh, floral scent but I also enjoy it because it isn't too strong. I hate things that smell like too much cleaner or too strong of a perfume, but Woolite has just the right strength of scent. It makes my clothes smell wonderful, which makes me happy!

I used the Woolite on a load of bright colors to see if it would help to make the colors pop. My clothes came out of the washer looking bright, and fresh. Sometimes my clothes look a little washed out and faded, but Woolite makes the colors look new and bright!

I am very excited to buy a bottle of Woolite to see how it works on my other clothes, such as dresses or my whites! I have one dress in particular that is a dark blue but looks really faded after just a short time, so I will be seeing if Woolite can give that dress a little love!

Dickinson's Original Witch Hazel Oil-Controlling Towelettes Will Do Wonders for Your Skin!

My latest Sugar 'n' Spice VoxBox from Influenster included the amazing Dickinson's Original Witch Hazel Oil-Controlling Towelettes. Below is my video review of the product!

If you are unable to see my video, here is a little recap....

I currently was using Clean and Clear face wash, as well as using Pond's face towelettes at night to remove makeup or clean dirt and oil off my face. I like the Pond's, however they left a bit of residue on my skin and I would always have to wash my face afterwards.

When I first opened the Dickinson's product I was overwhelmed by the smell of the towelette. I am assuming it is the smell of the witch hazel, but it is very strong and I would describe it as a bitter unpleasant alcohol smell.

After rubbing the towelette across my face, I noticed how clean it felt. It did sting my skin a little bit, like alcohol does, but that doesn't really bother me. My face felt very clean, and unlike the Pond's, there was no feeling of residue at all! It was like it dried instantly and my face did not have any oil or dirt left on it. It felt very soft, moisturized and clean.

These towelettes are made for on-the-go and I think they are perfect for that. I mentioned with the Pond's I felt like I had to wash my face afterwards, but with Dickinson's towelettes, there is no feeling of residue. They would be amazing for traveling or even at work for a little refresher. The moisture dries so fast, it is like a quick little wash and burst of clean!

I have since gotten much more used to the smell of the towelettes. I would still say that it isn't the best smell, compared to other products, but it is tolerable. I love how the product makes my face feel, so I can deal with the smell.

I love this product is natural, does great things for my skin and makes me feel clean and refreshed! I will be sure to keep a few of these in my purse for when I'm on the go!

Old Navy Tees are Perfect for Summer!

I was so excited to hear that I was selected for another Old Navy sample and share! This time it was for Old Navy Best Tees, allowing me and a friend to pick out two each! I have a little bit of experience with Old Navy tees. Last year I bought two in the v-neck style just before summer started. They were some of my favorite tees for the season but they seemed to stretch out a little as time went on. I was really interested to see how the tees felt and looked this year!

I took my sister with me for this shopping trip because she has lots of nice dressy clothing but could really use some simple tees for everyday use. We went early in the day, around 11 o'clock. The store was full of bright, summer colored clothing and I noticed a ton of other styles of shirts and dresses that I would love to get! The manager told us that we were able to pick from the styles on two of the tables in the store for our sample and share. The first table had the v-necks (like I had purchased last year), as well as some cute longer sleeve styles with stripes. I was immediately drawn to the shirts with stripes because I like to have a little pattern to my clothes if possible. Anything to dress it up a little bit is perfect for me.

So many choices!

The other table that we were able to choose shirts from had many different swoop neck tees, mostly in the main primary colors. I grabbed a few to try on because I usually stay away from swoop necks but wanted to see how they look on me.

After gathering arm fulls of clothing each, we headed to the fitting room! I was really impressed in the material that all of the tees were made from. It is very soft, and really comfortable. I have really sensitive skin and sometimes clothing rubs and starts to itch and bother me after a while but it was really obvious that Old Navy's tees wouldn't do that. The quality of their material for the tees was really high!

This is the softest shirt ever!

I have had no problem finding Old Navy clothes that I love on previous shopping trips, but for this trip it was a little different. My sister and I both had problems finding tees that fit us properly. I have a larger chest but skinny waist, so a lot of the shirts looked stretched out over the front of me. I tried on a large to start with (which is what size my tees were from last year) and the shoulders seemed way too big. I ended up settling with a size small in the one style because it was the only one that fit with the right proportions. I also had a big problem with the v-necks being really baggy up top. And like I said, I have a big chest, so how baggy is the top on other women? It just seemed really loose and I didn't want to worry about bending over and having the whole world see down my shirt!

A little baggy up top.

My sister is really thin but tall, so she had a problem with the shirts clinging to her, to make her look too skinny. She also noticed that the sizes ranged so much from one to the other. The two shirts she ended up choosing were the same style but one was a medium and the other was an extra-small. I was a little shocked that the sizes varied that much! We had to keep trying each size, in each color, because we couldn't find any real consistency in the sizes.

The one shirt that really fit me perfectly was the longer sleeved striped style that I chose to purchase. I love the way it fits, it has just the right amount of stretch and it isn't too tight. It is perfect for lounging around the house! I also like that it has a little bit of a baseball look to it…very sporty! I am sure this will be one of my go-to shirts when I am looking for something cute but comfy! I also learned my previous opinion of swoop necks not fitting me properly was wrong. I love the blue swoop neck that I chose. The color is the perfect, bright shade of blue and it looks so great with a pair of jeans!

Love the style of this top!

One of my sister's favorites!

So overall, I would summarize by saying Old Navy has really great quality tees, with lots of cute colors and styles. The sizes do seem to range a lot so just take the time to try on each one to find the one that fits you best! :) I am really happy with the styles I chose and can’t wait to go back and shop some more!

A day of fun shopping!
