Goody Quikstyle Saves Precious Time!

Another product that I was able to test in my Influenster Holiday Voxbox was the Goody Quikstyle paddle brush! This is an amazing brush that includes absorbent microfibers in the brush which helps to dry your hair faster than ever! The microfibers are antimicrobial, so you don't have to worry about mold, and the handle has tons of air holes which help it to dry out fast. It retails for about $12.99 and is available at most stores like Walmart and Target! 

The Goody Quikstyle Paddle Brush

I was super excited to try this brush because my  hair takes FOREVER to dry. Even using  a hair dryer, it will easily take 20 minutes to dry my hair. I always have to really towel dry my hair just to keep it from dripping when I get out of the shower, it just really holds in the moisture! 

The first time I used this brush was when I was just going to air dry my hair. I didn't use a blow dryer because I wanted to see just how much water the brush would absorb. I was so impressed!! I immediately starting brushing after I got out of the shower, and to my surprise, I didn't even have to towel dry my hair at all! The brush absorbed everything! I brushed my hair for maybe five minutes and it was nearly dry! It usually takes my hair  a few hours to air dry, but I'd say it was half way there in just a few short minutes with this brush! Once it gets to a certain point of dryness, it doesn't really help out more because the excess water is gone, but this brush is amazing for when you just hop out of the shower! 

Here are a few tips for using this brush when your hair is soaking wet: 
- After a few strokes, shake the brush in the air to dry it out a little bit. The microfibers get so wet they lay down, and you need to fluff it back up to get it to dry your hair more. 
- Also make sure to remove any loose hair that is in the brush because that cause the microfibers to lay down as well!
- Lastly, brush your hair from the underside and in all different directions so the hair pulls against the microfibers, which cause them to pull in more moisture!

So this brush is amazing for drying wet hair, but it also works great for detangling! In the past I have used a Goody Plasmium Gel paddle brush, and love it because it is so gentle on my hair. It has a very soft pad where the bristles are attached so it doesn't feel rough at all when you brush. The Goody Quikstyle brush is a little more ridged on your head when you brush. It is a little stiff so I just brush my hair a little softer with it so it doesn't scrap my head. Overall, it does work really great though for tangles. With just a few quick strokes my hair is totally straight and free of tangles! That is amazing for me, because until I found Goody products, I always had a terrible problem with tangles!

When using this brush along side a blow dryer, it works just as great! It makes it dry twice as fast, and it is really great for styling. I use the brush to help curl the ends of my hair or get my hair to flow in a certain direction. It is great because you  are drying your hair from both sides. The blow dryer air hits one side, while the microfibers absorb water from the other!

Overall, this is a fantastic brush! I would recommend this to anyone who is tired of slow drying hair! This brush works wonders!
